OKLAHOMA CITY (April 6, 2011) – The No.12 Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals golf team had a 14 stroke improvement from the first round to the second round and it resulted in a third place finish at the Quail Creek Classic hosted by Oklahoma City University at Quail Creek Golf & Country Club.

ALBUQUERQUE (March 21, 2011) – The No.13 Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals were the only non NCAA Div. II members competing in the Western New Mexico University Mustang Invitational, and they finished in third place with two top-five finishers.  Shelby Hill finished in third place and Sinae Montoya finished in fourth for the Lady Chaparrals.

LUBBOCK, Texas (March 15, 2011) - Lubbock Christian University’s Shelbye Hill has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for March 7-13.

Hill, a freshman from Monahans, Texas, won the Mary Hardin-Baylor Spring Invitational with a two-round 154. She topped the 80-player field for her first career victory.

TEMPLE, Texas (March 8, 2011) – The No.13 Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals golf team finished in third place in the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Lady Cru Spring Invitational, and Shelbye Hill was the top finisher of the event.  Teammate Sinae Montoya finished tied for second place at the event held at Wildflower Country Club.
