OKLAHOMA CITY (February 27, 2012) - Five members of the Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals received All-Sooner Athletic Conference honors led by Kelsey Canavan claiming Newcomer of the Year honors and Nicole Hampton earning Freshman of the Year honors.  Head coach Steve Gomez also claimed Co-Coach of the Year Honors.

LUBBOCK, Texas (February 25, 2012) - Kelsey Canavan was stealing the spotlight away from the senior members of the Lady Chaparrals Saturday afternoon, as she posted another career-high with 30 points as part of a double-double (12 rebounds) to lead No.7 Lubbock Christian University to their second Sooner Athletic Conference Regular Season title with an 89-68 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Senior Day inside Rip Griffin Center.

LUBBOCK, Texas (February 24, 2012) - Kelsey Canavan recorded 21 points in the first half and finished with a career-high 29 points to lead No.6 Lubbock Christian University to an 85-52 Sooner Athletic Conference victory over Oklahoma Christian University Thursday night inside Rip Griffin Center. 

LUBBOCK, Texas (February 20, 2012) - Last year, Brittany Roberts was one of two Lady Chaparrals to claim the program's first ever Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team honors.  She took it a step further this season becoming the first player in Lubbock Christian University women's basketball history to claim a spot on the Capital One Academic All-America College Division Women's Basketball Team, as the 2012 edition was selected and announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Monday.
