Courtney played in 24 games and led the squad amongst players with at least 50 field goal attempts with a 50.8% shooting percentage. She averaged 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds a game and ranked third on the squad with 12 blocks.
07/08 - Houston Baptist Univ.
During the 2007-2008 season, Courtney appeared in 23 games and ranked second on the team in free-throw shooting (70.6%). She averaged 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game, playing with HBU’s inaugural NCAA Div. I team. Defensively, Wilson provided 12 blocks and 16 steals. Wilson posted a career-high 10 points on two occasions and contributed a career-best eight rebounds on two additional occasions with the Huskies to highlight her freshman season.
In High School
Before arriving at HBU, Courtney was a product of Lumberton High School in the Beaumont vicinity of Texas. She was a two-time All-State member and District MVP at Lumberton. Wilson played for her father, Charles, at Lumberton, and was part of their state tournament team as a junior. She averaged 20 points and a nine rebounds a game as a senior.
