OKLAHOMA CITY (December 5, 2011) - Lubbock Christian University guard Emily Atkins has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov.28-Dec. 4.

CLAREMORE, Okla. (December 3, 2011) - Emily Atkins and Brittany Roberts each had 18 points and were two of five Lady Chaparrals to post double figures, as No.17 Lubbock Christian University made 31 of 35 free-throws (88.6%) and overcame an 11-point second half deficit to defeat No.24 Rogers State University 78-73 Saturday afternoon in a Sooner Athletic Conference battle inside Claremore Expo Center.

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (December 1, 2011) - Emily Atkins posted 26 points and she was one of four Lady Chaparrals to post double figures, as she led No.17 Lubbock Christian University to a 61-58 road victory over John Brown University in the Lady Chaps Sooner Athletic Conference opener.

LUBBOCK, Texas (November 28, 2011) - Lubbock Christian University received a signature to another local product Monday, as Trinity Christian High School product Ashton Meeks signed to serve as a student-athletic with the Lady Chaparrals basketball team.  The signing took place in front of friends and family at Trinity Christian High School.
