LUBBOCK, Texas (January 26, 2012) - Lubbock Christian University matched their program record 13-game win streak Thursday night inside Rip Griffin Center, as all 10 Lady Chaparrals figured into the offense and No.9 Lubbock Christian University pulled away from a three-point second half lead to defeat University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma 89-49 in Sooner Athletic Conference action.  The win, which keeps LCU alone atop the SAC standings with a perfect 12-0 mark, helps LCU match their program record 13-game win streak from the 1996/1997 season.

OKLAHOMA CITY (January 23, 2012) - For a third consecutive week a member of the Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals was selected as the Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, as LCU forward Emily Atkins received the honor for the week of Jan. 16-22.

LUBBOCK, Texas (January 21, 2011) - For a second consecutive game, Emily Atkins led all scorers with 25 points and Nicole Hampton added a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, as the duo led No.9 Lubbock Christian University to a 74-65 win over John Brown University in Sooner Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon inside Rip Griffin Center.  The win keeps LCU perfect (11-0) in SAC play and extends their win streak to 12 games.

LUBBOCK, Texas (January 19, 2011) - No.9 Lubbock Christian University closed their game on a 10-2 run and received 25 points from Emily Atkins, as the Lady Chaparrals extended their win streak to 11 games with an 87-70 victory over Rogers State University Thursday night in Sooner Athletic Conference play inside Rip Griffin Center.  The 11-game win streak is the longest under ninth-year head coach Steve Gomez for the Lady Chaps.
