SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (December 1, 2011) - Emily Atkins posted 26 points and she was one of four Lady Chaparrals to post double figures, as she led No.17 Lubbock Christian University to a 61-58 road victory over John Brown University in the Lady Chaps Sooner Athletic Conference opener.

LUBBOCK, Texas (November 28, 2011) - Lubbock Christian University received a signature to another local product Monday, as Trinity Christian High School product Ashton Meeks signed to serve as a student-athletic with the Lady Chaparrals basketball team.  The signing took place in front of friends and family at Trinity Christian High School.

STEPHENVILLE, Texas (November 22, 2011) - Kelsey Canavan had 13 of her game-high 21 points in the second half to overcome a 10-point deficit and lead the No.17 Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals to an 87-84 victory over Tarleton State University inside a rowdy Wisdom Gym.  It was the 20^th all-time meeting between the two programs and was the Lady Chaps first win since Jan. 19, 1989 over the TexAnns and their just their second win ever in the series. 

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (November 19, 2011) - No.20 Westmont College went the final 7:36 without a field goal and No.17 Lubbock Christian University rallied from a 19-point second half deficit only to fall short 76-71 despite a career-high 18 points from Nicole Hampton Saturday night at Murchison Gymnasium.
