Roberts joined the Athletic Department in January of 2011, replacing Mandy Polk, who spent two seasons with the Lady Chaps and resigned at the conclusion of the 2010 season to focus on her other job.  A native of Canyon, Roberts does not have to travel far to make the transition into the LCU Athletic Department.  The Lubbock Christian University graduate has been serving as an assistant manager in the LCU Bookstore since graduating with a degree in Organizational Communications in December of 2008.  She also spent last season serving as the head coach of the Lubbock Christian High School volleyball program.  Prior to marrying Jordan Roberts, she was known as Brittany Hix and a three-year member of the Lady Chaps volleyball team under head coach Jennifer Lawrence.  She was a redshirt in 2004 and played from 2005-2007, claiming All-Sooner Athletic Conference in 2006 (Honorable Mention) and 2007 (Second Team).  Roberts combined for 860 kills and 200 block assists in her three seasons.  She is the daughter of Gary Hix, who was a member of LCU’s 1983 National Championship baseball program.
