OKLAHOMA CITY (July 13, 2010) - The Sooner Athletic Conference awarded Oklahoma Baptist University as the recipient of the 2009-10 SAC Cup, with Lubbock Christian University finishing third in the mix.

LUBBOCK, Texas (May 27, 2010) – The first family of baseball on the South Plains is becoming the first family of softball.  Lubbock Christian University President Dr. L. Ken Jones and athletic director Paul Hise are announcing that Larry Hays has resigned as head coach of the softball program and that Daren Hays has accepted the position to become the new head coach.

DECATUR, Ala. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2010 Softball All-American teams. Lubbock Christian University is well represented among the players selected by the All-America committee, topping all teams in the NAIA with five All-Americans, including NAIA National Softball Player of the Year Kim Frazier. DECATUR, Ala. (May 24, 2010) – A three-run home run by Kaitlyn Dubois with two outs in the fifth inning unlocked a 0-0 contest and helped Bethel College (Ind.) to a 3-1 upset over Lubbock Christian University, which advances Bethel out of pool play at the NAIA National Championship and ends the Lady Chaparrals season.
