LUBBOCK, Texas (March 18, 2010) – Lubbock Christian University softball head coach Larry Hays has announced that their Sooner Athletic Conference series against Mid-America Christian University has been moved up a day to avoid any possible weather concerns for Saturday.  The series, which was originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon, is now scheduled for an 11 a.m. doubleheader Friday at PlainsCapital Park.

TUCSON (March 17, 2010) – Lubbock Christian University played from behind in each of their games Wednesday morning at the Tucson Invitational Games, but the No. 5 Lady Chaparrals rebounded in each of them to defeat Missouri Valley College 10-2 and No.23 Savannah College of Art & Design (Ga.) 7-3 from Lincoln Park.

TUCSON (March 16, 2010) – Lubbock Christian University used some early starts in each of their Tuesday games at the Tucson Invitational Games and it led to the No.5 Lady Chaparrals to defeating Missouri Valley College 6-1 and Minot State University (N.D.) 9-0.

TUCSON (March 15, 2010) – Lubbock Christian University has always been able to find success playing in the Tucson Invitational Games.  The No.5 Lady Chaparrals opened play Monday in their third consecutive season participating in the annual event, but their winning trend of a 14-0 all-time record in the event hit a snag at Lincoln Park.  They opened play with a 6-1 loss to No.2 Dickinson State University (N.D.), but did rebound following the loss with a 16-0 win over Nebraska Wesleyan University.
