Hill Claims SAC Weekly Honor

LUBBOCK, Texas (March 15, 2011) - Lubbock Christian University’s Shelbye Hill has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for March 7-13.

Hill, a freshman from Monahans, Texas, won the Mary Hardin-Baylor Spring Invitational with a two-round 154. She topped the 80-player field for her first career victory.

This season marks the first season the SAC has awarded conference accolades for golfer of the week honors and Hill is the Lady Chaps first ever recipient of the honor.
