OKLAHOMA CITY (May 6, 2011) – The final day of the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament takes place Saturday at ASA Hall of Fame Complex, with No.6 Lubbock Christian University awaiting an elimination game at 1 p.m. LCU must win that game to advance to the championship series with No.11 Oklahoma City University, which LCU would have to defeat OCU twice. LCU enters the tourney as SAC Regular Season Co-Champions and as the top seed following a 22-4 regular season mark. They are 48-8 overall on the season after going 2-1 Friday in tournament play. Their 2-1 loss to OCU ended LCU's 20-game win streak against conference foes.
