SAC Softball Tournament

OKLAHOMA CITY (May 6, 2011) – The final day of the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament takes place Saturday at ASA Hall of Fame Complex, with No.6 Lubbock Christian University awaiting an elimination game at 1 p.m.  LCU must win that game to advance to the championship series with No.11 Oklahoma City University, which LCU would have to defeat OCU twice. STATS/BROADCAST LINKS / WEATHER

LCU enters the tourney as SAC Regular Season Co-Champions and as the top seed following a 22-4 regular season mark.  They are 48-8 overall on the season after going 2-1 Friday in tournament play.  Their 2-1 loss to OCU ended LCU's 20-game win streak against conference foes.
