Forbes Claims SAC Weekly Award

OKLAHOMA CITY (November 8, 2011) - Lubbock Christian University leading scorer Billy Forbes has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 31-Nov. 6.

Forbes, a junior midfielder from Providenciales, Turks & Caicos, led the Chaps on a 2-0 week with three goals and two assists.  He scored two goals in a 3-1 win over Wayland Baptist and had a goal and two assists in a 4-0 victory over Oklahoma Christian in the opening round of the SAC Tournament.  He had the game-winner in both matches and ranks third in the NAIA with nine game-winning goals.
