Ducks "Gun" Down Skunks

LUBBOCK, Texas (November 1, 2011) - The Red Ducks scored a trio of runs in the top of the seventh inning, with the game winning RBI coming off a two-run double by Ryan Gunhouse, and defeated the Blue Skunks 7-6 to force a decisive game five Thursday at 6 p.m. in the 40^th annual Ducks/Skunks series, which serves as the Lubbock Christian University baseball fall intrasquad series at Hays Field.

Gunhouse ended the game 3-for-4 with the pair of runs-batted-in.  He was joined on the Ducks squad with a 4-for-4 outing from Karl Seiter, who also had two RBI.  The three-run seventh helped salvage a one-time 3-1 lead that had slipped away after the Skunks scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.
