In The Red

LUBBOCK, Texas (October 28, 2011) - Four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning helped the Red Ducks steal an 8-7 victory over the Blue Skunks in game one of the best-of-five Ducks/Skunks fall intrasquad series, which is in its 49^th edition at Lubbock Christian University.

Ryan Gunhouse, Reagan Pearson and Josh Powe each had a pair of runs-batted-in for the Ducks.  Gunhouse produced the only home run in the game. The Ducks jumped out to a 4-0 lead after a four-run first, but the Skunks responded with seven straight runs before the Ducks four-run sixth inning.

The series resumes Saturday with game two at 1 p.m. at Hays Field.
