LUBBOCK, Texas (February 1, 2012) - The Lubbock Christian University Athletic Department has announced that season passes for online video webcasts of LCU baseball are now on sale through the LCU official athletics website (www.lcuchaps.com). PURCHASE PASSES HERE
This season marks the third season video services have been made available for Lubbock Christian University baseball. Video webcast services of LCU athletics began in 2009 and became available with a partnership with Stretch Internet (www.stretchinternet.com). Back again this season is the GameCentral portal, which allows for live scoring, video and chat features to be displayed on the same screen.
Individual game purchases for video webcasts are $5. Season passports for baseball allow individuals to watch an entire season's worth of webcasts for a discounted rate of $39. There is a guarantee of 31 games on this season's baseball webcast schedule, with the strong possibility of additional games being added as the season progresses. Audio-only broadcasts will also be made available at www.lcuchaps.com and will remain free of charge. Also available through the partnership between LCU and Stretch is eScores, which a free-subscription service to receive final scores delivered via email and/or text message. Individuals can sign up for the service by clicking on the eScores logo on www.lcuchaps.com.
The 2011 NAIA Runner-Up Chaparrals open their 2012 season Friday at 2 p.m. in Cedar Hill, Texas facing Northwood University for a three-game series. Their first home game is scheduled for February 10th hosting York College (Neb.).
