LUBBOCK, Texas (December 6, 2011) - Billy Forbes, who was the heart and soul of the Lubbock Christian University men's soccer team this past season, was honored as the program's first NAIA All-American.

OKLAHOMA CITY (November 11, 2011) - The Sooner Athletic Conference awarded their annual postseason honors for men's soccer and Lubbock Christian University was well represented headlined by Billy Forbes, who claimed Player of the Year, Offensive MVP, Newcomer of the Year and First Team accolades.  Also receiving honors for LCU was Byron Knowles and Jorge Martinez, who were each named to the Second Team.

CHICKASHA, Okla. (November 10, 2011) - It was a 90 minute game, but it took less than 15 minutes for Lubbock Christian University to see their dreams of their first Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament title slip away, as No.24 University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma scored a pair of goals in the opening 15 minutes and claimed the tournament title with a 4-0 win over the Chaparrals Thursday afternoon.  The Drovers claim an automatic berth to the 2011 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship and the Chaparrals will have to desperately hope for an at-large berth.

OKLAHOMA CITY (November 8, 2011) - Lubbock Christian University leading scorer Billy Forbes has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 31-Nov. 6.
