ABILENE, Texas (September 1, 2010) – Cloyce Session came off the bench and scored the match’s only goal in the 67th minute and Lubbock Christian spoiled McMurry University’s home and season opener, 1-0 in men’s soccer action. LCU, the NAIA school in its first year as a program, moved to 2-0 on the season.

LUBBOCK, Texas (August 28, 2010) – The Lubbock Christian University men’s soccer team made its debut Saturday afternoon at LCU Soccer Field with the Chaparrals benefiting off a pair of penalty kicks to defeat University of the Southwest (N.M.) 3-1 in the first game in program history.

OKLAHOMA CITY (August 11, 2010) – The inaugural Lubbock Christian University men’s soccer program knew they wouldn’t have the attention of Sooner Athletic Conference coaches since they have yet to play a game in program history, but they were not the last team ranked in the SAC Men’s Soccer Preseason Coaches’ Poll.  The Chaparrals are ranked tenth in the 11-team conference ahead of Wayland Baptist University.
