LUBBOCK, Texas (September 20, 2011) - The Lubbock Christian University men's golf team hosted the Chaps Fall Invitational, which concluded play Tuesday with LCU finishing tied for seventh among the 12-team field at LakeRidge Country Club.

ABILENE, Texas (September 13, 2011) - The Lubbock Christian University men's golf team opened up their fall season with a seventh place finish out of 14 teams at the Charles Coody West Texas Invitational hosted by Abilene Christian University.  Leon Scheepers led the Chaparrals with an eighth place finish at Diamondback Golf Club.

LUBBOCK, Texas (June 9, 2011) – A pair of Lubbock Christian University Chaparral golfers claimed Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, as the NAIA recognized Cosme Beamonte and Cameron Swarb for their efforts in the classroom.

CATOOSA, Okla. (April 27, 2011) – Facundo Garcia claimed All-Sooner Athletic Conference honors with a share of third place and it led Lubbock Christian University to a fourth place finish at the SAC Championships, which concluded Wednesday at Cherokee Hills Golf Club.
