LUBBOCK, Texas (February 9, 2012) - Charlie Shorter nailed four three-pointers in the final 2:08, including one with 2.8 seconds remaining to cap a 33-point performance and lift Mid-America Christian to a 93-90 victory over Lubbock Christian University to spoil a 57.9% shooting performance by the Chaparrals and a 27-point outing by Tyler Kennedy, who hit eight three-pointers in the Sooner Athletic Conference battle inside Rip Griffin Center.

OKLAHOMA CITY (February 4, 2012) - In a competition among a pair of fowl teams, it was fitting that fouls would be a factor.  The Eagles of Oklahoma Christian University took advantage of a 32-15 free-throw attempt advantage and erased a 32-31 Chaparrals halftime lead with 63% shooting in the second half en route to an 89-74 win over Lubbock Christian University at The Eagles' Nest Saturday afternoon in Sooner Athletic Conference play.

ALVA, Okla. (February 2, 2012) - It was an ugly ending for Lubbock Christian University, in an important Sooner Athletic Conference contest Thursday night at Percefull Fieldhouse, but they were able to hold onto a 70-59 lead with 1:32 remaining and get out with a 76-73 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State University.  It marks the sixth consecutive game the Chaps have played in decided by five or fewer points.

LUBBOCK, Texas (January 28, 2012) - No.14 Southern Nazarene University closed their contest against Lubbock Christian University with a 13-5 run filled with nine free-throws to dodge an upset and sneak out of the Rip Griffin Center with a 68-64 win over the Chaparrals Saturday afternoon in a Sooner Athletic Conference contest.
