(February 2, 2012) - It was an ugly ending for Lubbock Christian University, in an important Sooner Athletic Conference contest Thursday night at Percefull Fieldhouse, but they were able to hold onto a 70-59 lead with 1:32 remaining and get out with a 76-73 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State University.  It marks the sixth consecutive game the Chaps have played in decided by five or fewer points.

LUBBOCK, Texas (January 28, 2012) - No.14 Southern Nazarene University closed their contest against Lubbock Christian University with a 13-5 run filled with nine free-throws to dodge an upset and sneak out of the Rip Griffin Center with a 68-64 win over the Chaparrals Saturday afternoon in a Sooner Athletic Conference contest.

LUBBOCK, Texas (January 26, 2012) - A 20-point performance from Lubbock Christian University point guard Rashad Sample and a 21-point second half lead was good enough to hold off a double-double from Kyle Hunt (23 points and 14 rebounds) and a comeback attempt from University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma, as LCU survived for a 65-61 Sooner Athletic Conference victory Thursday night inside Rip Griffin Center.
