The Chaparrals produced four players in double figures, with Kenny Hewitt and Tyler Kennedy each co-leading the squad with 18 points.

Kenny Hewitt’s 28-point performance for the Chaps was unable to extend their three-game Sooner Athletic Conference win streak, as LCU suffered their first loss to a NAIA opponent of the season to drop to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the SAC.

(December 3, 2009) – Douglass Williams knocked down six three-pointers and posted a career high 28 points to help the Lubbock Christian University Chaparrals to a 3-0 Sooner Athletic Conference record, as the Chaparrals defeated Northwestern Oklahoma State University 74-71 Thursday night at Percefull Fieldhouse. LCU’s 3-0 conference start (6-1 overall) is their best conference start since opening the 2003-2004 season with a 5-0 record.
