(December 31, 2011) - Last season, Lubbock Christian University used seven three pointers in the first half to pace themselves to an upset win over a then-No.12 ranked Southern Nazarene University squad at Sawyer Center.  Saturday afternoon, LCU went the entire game without a three-pointer, but received 15 points from Rashad Sample and Jeff Ayisire made his Chaparrals debut with 14 points to lead LCU to a 65-51 upset road victory over the No.16 Crimson Storm.

PLAINVIEW, Texas (December 8, 2011) - Rashad Sample (18 points) and Ricky Roberts (12 points) combined for 30 points in the second half and Lubbock Christian University claimed their first Sooner Athletic Conference win with an 81-67 victory over rival Wayland Baptist University Thursday night inside Hutcherson Center.

(December 3, 2011) - Lubbock Christian University toyed with an upset bid at No.11 Rogers State University, but the Hillcats rallied from a 62-51 deficit with 10:30 remaining with the aid of 25 second half free-throw attempts to escape with an 85-79 win over the Chaparrals in Sooner Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon.

(December 1, 2011) - John Brown University used a 71.4% second-half shooting percentage, a 50-28 rebound advantage and double-doubles from Andy Garcia (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Adrian Miller (20 points, 12 rebounds) to hand Lubbock Christian University an 81-65 loss to open the Chaparrals conference schedule in the Sooner Athletic Conference Thursday night.
