A native of El Paso, Texas, Keeton joined the LCU coaching staff prior to the 2011 season after serving with the staff at Texas Tech University.  He served as a volunteer assistant coach and as an adjunct professor in the exercise and sports science department.

Keeton played a season with Grand Canyon University and appeared with the Professional Development League's Arizona Sahuaros before attending Texas Tech and earning an undergrad and masters degree.  A USSF Licensee, Keeton has been involved with the Texas Tech program since 2008. 

He has served locally as the Director of Coaching for the Lubbock Arsenal youth soccer program and has coached in the regional Olympic Developmental Program.  Keeton assisted with many collegiate camps, working camps at Texas A&M, Colorado and Texas Tech.
