Odie Guzman from Lewisville, Texas enters his second year with the coaching staff of Lubbock Christian University as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's soccer team. He is a graduate from Harding University and earned his bachelor's degree in Business Management.  He also holds a USSF National "D" License.

Guzman Lettered four years for NCAA Division II Harding University during the 2005-2009 seasons. In the 08'-09' campaign he was named to the Gulf South Conference pre-season team, earned a spot in the All- Gulf South Conference First Team,  All- Gulf South Conference tournament team and was captain for the Men's team his senior year. During his junior year, Guzman helped Harding University Men's soccer reach their first Gulf South Conference playoff berth in program history. Within that year he made All- GSC second team.

Prior to his four years at Harding University, Guzman was part of the Dallas Texans 87'. In 2003 Guzman won state, won region III and achieved 3rd place in the US Youth National Tournament with the team. The year before that, he helped the Texans win the state championship and reached the regional tournament.

In 2000 Guzman was selected to be part of the North Texas 86' Men's Olympic Development Program pool. The following year he made the North Texas 86' ODP team and traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to compete in the ODP regional camp. He was a part of the 86' North Texas Men's ODP pool until 2004.
