OKLAHOMA CITY (May 4, 2012) - No.24 Lubbock Christian University moved into the Sooner Athletic Conference championship game with a 6-5 upset win over No.2 Oklahoma City University Friday night at Jim Wade Stadium.  They will face No.8 Oklahoma Baptist University Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bison Field in Shawnee, Okla.

(April 28, 2012) - Ryan Burnaman made his first career start for No.18 Lubbock Christian University and held Southern Nazarene University to two hits in five scoreless innings pitched, as the Chaparrals defeated the Crimson Storm 6-1 to claim the rubber match of their three-game Sooner Athletic Conference series Saturday afternoon at Cypert Athletic Complex. The Chaps complete the regular season with a 30-19 overall record and an 18-12 SAC mark to claim the fourth seed heading into the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament, which begins Wednesday.
