LUBBOCK, Texas (May 14, 2011) – Ryan Burnaman matched an NAIA National Championship Opening Round and program single-game record with five hits, and pitcher Lucas Whitmore pitched a complete game and had a span of 16 consecutive batters retired to help lead No.9 Lubbock Christian University to a 10-3 win over Kansas Wesleyan University, clinching the Lubbock Bracket championship and punching their ticket to the Avista NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.
