OKLAHOMA CITY (May 13, 2012) - The last time Lubbock Christian University was eliminated from heading to the NAIA World Series was in 2008 and it came to the hands of Oklahoma City University at Jim Wade Stadium in a NAIA regional contest.  History repeated itself Sunday afternoon at the Oklahoma City bracket of the NAIA National Championship Opening Round, as Cody Crabaugh pitched a complete game shutout and did not allow a hit to the final 23 batters faced and No.3 Oklahoma City eliminated No.19 LCU 4-0.

OKLAHOMA CITY (May 12, 2012) - Karl Seiter, who went 4-for-4 earlier in the day Saturday against York College, went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and four runs-batted-in to help No.19 Lubbock Christian University eliminate Mount Marty College 11-1 Saturday evening in an elimination game in the Oklahoma City bracket of the NAIA National Championship Opening Round at Jim Wade Stadium.  The Chaps remain in Oklahoma City Sunday to play No.3 Oklahoma City University in an elimination game at 11 a.m.

OKLAHOMA CITY (May 12, 2012) - No.19 Lubbock Christian University collected their first win in the Oklahoma City bracket of the NAIA National Championship Opening Round, as Karl Seiter went 4-for-4 with three runs-batted-in and pitcher Tyler Rogers completed his ninth complete game of the season in a 6-2 victory to eliminate York College (Neb.) Saturday afternoon.  The win places LCU in an elimination game at 6 p.m. Saturday evening against Mount Marty College.

LUBBOCK, Texas (May 10, 2012) - Richard Bohlken went 3-for-5 with four two-out runs-batted-in and became the second all-time leading home run hitter in program history with his 60^th career home run.  Unfortunately for Bohlken, his memorable afternoon turned unmemorable in the eighth inning, as his two-out error led to four unearned runs and No.25 Sterling College (Kan.) came back to upset No.19 Lubbock Christian University 9-8 Friday afternoon in the opening game for each team in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round Oklahoma City Bracket.  The loss places LCU in an elimination game Friday at 11 a.m. against Nebraska based York College.
