LUBBOCK, Texas (October 16, 2013) – The Heartland Conference announced Lubbock Christian University's Billy Forbes has joined Oklahoma Christian University's Brandon Little Axe as this week's Men's Soccer Co-Offensive Players of the Week.

LCU spilt a pair of home games in Heartland Conference play, with Forbes leading the team with six points in two games with two goals and two assists. In a 3-0 win over St. Mary's, the Turks & Caicos Islands native notched a five-point performance with two goals and an assist. He followed with an assist in LCU's lone goal against Texas A&M International and has at least one point in six of the last seven games played. The senior forward leads the conference in goals (12), goals per game (1.2), points per game (2.6), shots per game (4.8) and co-leading in points (26).

Forbes is the first three-time recipient of the weekly conference honor this season. The Chaps are 5-4-1 overall on the season and 2-1-0 in the Heartland Conference. They return to action Saturday in Wichita, Kan. facing Newman University in a Heartland Conference match.
