CANYON, Texas (October 8, 2013) – Lubbock Christian University shot a 339 in round two of the 2013 Lady Buff Classic to move up one spot and finish in 14th place after a total score of 685 on the Tascosa Country Club. Shelbye Hill's two rounds of 78 landed her in a tie for sixth place, shooting 12-over par on the 72-par 5,950 course.

Kelsey Garcia finished tied in 44th place with a final score of 171, Bailey Brown ended in a tie for 62nd with a 176, Savanna Stavinoha shot a 182 for a 68th place tie, and April Torrez shot a 189 for 79th place.

CSU-Pueblo earned team honors in the 17-team field, turning in a score of 633, while Midwestern State was in a close second with a score of 635, and host West Texas A&M finished in third place after shooting a 643. Julie Sanchez of CSU-Pueblo earned medalist honors, while Glory Jangthongsiri (West Texas A&M), Hee-Leina Kim (CSU-Pueblo), Brenna Moore (Midwestern State) and Kyra Garrison (Adams State) were named to the all-tournament team.

The Lady Chaps make a trip to Hawaii to take part in the University of Hawaii at Hilo Dennis Rose Intercollegiate on October 28 and 29.
