LUBBOCK, Texas (September 30, 2013) – Lubbock Christian University racked up two Heartland Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honors, with Kacey Deterding earning Hitter of the Week and Erin Fisher garnering Setter of the Week for the second week in a row.

Deterding, the junior from Lubbock, notched game-highs in kills last week versus UA-Fort Smith and Dallas Baptist, totaling 41 in the two matches. Deterding sits atop the conference averaging 3.95 kills per game.

Fisher, the conference's reigning Setter of the Week, compiled 50 and 56 assists versus UAFS and DBU. Those numbers were both game-highs, and her 50 against UAFS were a season-high until her follow-up performance against DBU in which she handed out 56 assists.
