LUBBOCK, Texas (August 21, 2013) - The Lubbock Christian University Athletic Department is announcing the availability of live video streaming for all home games and select road games for men's and women's soccer and volleyball. In addition, season passports for each of the three programs are currently ON SALE HERE.
Live video streaming is made possible through a partnership with Stretch Internet. LCU began live video streaming four seasons ago and expanded their role three seasons ago with the addition of the two LCU soccer programs. Included again is GameCentral, which is a feature allowing individuals to view the games along with having access to live scoring and interactive chat features with social media integration. Broadcasts have mobile Android, iPhone, iPad and iPod compatibilities of live video and audio streaming.
Individual game live video stream broadcasts are available for $8 per event, and season passports are available for each sport. Men's soccer tentatively has scheduled nine games to be broadcasted, and a season passport for $20 will cover all nine games along with any additional regular season games added. Women's soccer season passports are also $20 and they are scheduled for at least 10 broadcasts. Volleyball season passes are $20 with at least 15 matches scheduled for broadcast. Passport subscribers will not have to pay for any additional games added by the LCU Athletic Department.
Another feature continuing with Stretch Internet this season is eScores, which allows subscribers to have final scores of LCU events received via email and/or text message.
