LUBBOCK, Texas (May 20, 2013) – The NAIA announced their 2013 men's golf All-Americans and No.25 Lubbock Christian University was represented with Niel DuPreez claiming Second Team honors for his second consecutive NAIA All-American honor.
DuPreez, a junior from South Africa, was the program's first NAIA All-American recipient last season and he becomes the program's first two-time recipient of the accolade. He competed in eight tournaments and produced seven rounds of par or better in 23 rounds. DuPreez averaged 74.8 per round and had four top-10 finishes. His best finish was a second place finish in the Claude Jacobs Invitational and the Sooner Athletic Conference Championships.
The Chaps completed the season with a team scoring average of 302.6. They ranked No.25 in the NAIA's final poll and ranked No.23 by Golfstat.
